Exam and Desk Copies
Examination Copy Policy
The University of Calgary Press is pleased to provide examination copies to faculty teaching at universities, colleges, and educational institutions who are considering our titles for classroom adoption.
Requests may be submitted to by email to email@example.com, by fax to 403-282-4208, or by mail to The University of Calgary Press, 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary AB, T2N 1N4.
Please include the following information with your examination copy request:
- Your name, academic rank, institution, and department.
- The course name, start date, frequency and expected enrollment, along with the currently assigned text.
- Whether the requested exam copy will be required, suggested, or optional.
Course orders may be placed through university or college bookstores. Orders originating in Canada will be fulfilled by University of Toronto Press Distribution, in the United States by LongLeaf Services, and in Europe by Gazelle Book Services.
Desk Copy Policy
The University of Calgary Press is pleased to provide a complimentary desk copy with proof of course adoption. To arrange for your desk copy, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The University of Calgary Press is pleased to accommodate review copy requests.
To request a review copy, please contact our marketing specialist with your name, the name of your publication, address, phone number, and the title and ISBN of the book you wish to review.
Open Access books may be downloaded for review via the “Free PDF” tab on their respective book pages.
We ask that you provide a copy of any published review. Please let us know via email at email@example.com, on twitter @ucalgarypress, or by mail. We do our best to share, post, or signal-boost published reviews.
Experts, Excerpts, and Interviews
We are happy to accommodate requests for excerpts, op-eds, and original content written by our authors and experts, and interviews. Please contact our marketing specialist with your inquiry, including a brief description of your project and the publishing venue.
